Refund policy
At Adept Domestic, we want you to be happy with your purchase. We supply high-quality cleaning products and take care to ensure that every order is packed and delivered in good condition.
This policy applies to cleaning products purchased from www.adeptclean.co.za.
Adept Domestic provides cleaning services, cleaning products, and cleaning supplies, with a focus on safe, effective, and eco-friendly solutions.
1. Returns for damaged, defective, or incorrect products
You may request a return, replacement, or refund if:
- the product is damaged on arrival;
- the product is defective;
- you received the wrong product;
- the product is unsafe or not as described.
Please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing us with your order number, photos of the product, and a short description of the issue.
2. Returns for unwanted products
For hygiene and safety reasons, cleaning products can only be returned if they are:
- unused;
- unopened;
- in their original packaging;
- in a resalable condition;
- returned with proof of purchase.
Unwanted products must be returned within 7 days of delivery.
We do not accept returns for opened, used, partially used, or damaged products unless the product is defective.
3. Products that cannot be returned
We cannot accept returns for:
- opened or used cleaning products;
- products without original packaging;
- products damaged after delivery due to misuse, incorrect storage, or failure to follow usage instructions;
- sale, clearance, or promotional items, unless defective;
- products returned without proof of purchase.
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, a defective product, or damage during delivery.
5. Exchanges and replacements
Where a product is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we may offer a replacement or exchange at no additional cost, subject to stock availability.
6. Return courier costs
If the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, Adept Domestic will cover the reasonable return courier cost.
If the return is for an unwanted product, the customer will be responsible for the return courier cost.
